He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Scheid and Sarah Scheid (Reeves); his wife Sandra Mitchell; and his brothers, Steven, Gordon and Patrick.
He is survived by: his children, Heather Cornett (Bill), Nathan Scheid (Tina), Christine Scheid, Justin Scheid (Angela), Eddie Scheid, Jordan Scheid (Kassidy Thelen) and Stephen (Zoey Guernsey); his brothers, Ted Scheid (Dorothy) of Belding, Fred Scheid (Lisa) of Belding and Art Scheid (Joy) of Belding; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Scheid and Jim Mitchell.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home (203 Pleasant St, Belding, MI 48809). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The B Foundation, who helped and supported Ed's family throughout his wife Sandra's illnesses or to Farm Rescue.
