We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2022, at the age of 92, Dorothy Irene Simpkins of Belding, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo G. Bonner and Florence Bonner (Church); her former husband Frederick Pleune; her husband Stuart Simpkins; and her son Norman Pleune.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Pleune (Rebecca) of Belding, Margaret Werderits of Grand Rapids, Ronald Pleune (Sally) of Cedar Springs, Bruce Pleune of Minnesota and Bernice Reinhard (William) of Baldwin. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Irene's name to the Humane Society of West Michigan or the American Lung Association.
