It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Richard Cory of Belding, Michigan, who passed away on January 31, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Richard Cory to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Cory and Gracie M. Cory (Bradshaw); and his siblings, Hugh, Guy, Greta, Louise, Pearl, Josephine, Myrtle and Burma.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Cory (McNaughton); his children, Steven Cory of Phoenix, Nancy Cory-Saaf (Steven) of Lake Leelanau and Leanne McEachran (Mike) of Mesa; his daughter-in-law Debbie Cory Metz of Glendale; his grandchildren, Cory Saaf, Morgan Saaf-White (Brian), Taylor Saaf, Richie McEachran and Genevieve McEachran; and his great grandchild Benjamin White. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, countless friends and "adopted" grandchildren.
The family asks, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a Belding High School Building Trades scholarship. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and checks can be made to Belding Area Schools for the Don Cory Building Trades Scholarship Fund.
