He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bloem and Henrietta Bloem (Boogert); and his siblings, Nellie and Peter. He is survived by: his wife Julie Rockefeller; his children, Deborah Sparks (William), Dan Bloem (Stephanie Smith), David Bloem and Joe Bloem (Tammy); his grandchildren, Angel, April, Billie, Amber, Heather, Erin, Tommy, Kiri, Kyra and Kaylee; his great grandchild Marian Cavanaugh (Rich); his sons, Christopher Rydahl (Leslie), Paul Rydahl (Wendee) and Timothy Rydahl (Laura); his siblings, Bert, Paul, James, George, Ruth, David, Irene and Annie; his sister-in-law Bobbie Rockefeller (Peter Eddington); and his former wife Marian Rich. He is also survived by 9 step-grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild.
