He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Berthume and Genevieve Berthume (Beane); his son Gavin Patrick Berthume (Karen); his siblings, Bette Pace and Loren; and his sister-in-law Janet Berthume.
He is survived by: his close friend Joyce Sower of Belding; his son Gregory Berthume (Pamela) of South Carolina; his stepchildren, Lori, Roxanne, Andy, Brenda, Keith and Kevin; his brother Gary Berthume (Tamara) of Texas; and also, Lisa Sower (Tony) of Belding, William Mason (Robin) of Belding and Jody Adams (Randy) of Belding. He is also survived by many grandchildren great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the B Foundation or Mel Trotter Missions.
