He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Fairchild and Irene Fairchild (Bieri); his pet Boo; and his friends, Bob and Rita Pratt.
He is survived by: his fiancée Sherry Decker; his stepchildren, Kristina King (Josh) and Ron Schnicke (Cassandra); his sister Judy Kropf (Paul); and his friend Roy Welch (Barb). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vergennes Church (10411 Bailey Dr NE, Lowell, MI 49331). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
