He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shearer and Vera Shearer (Foor); and his brother Thomas Edward Shearer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Shearer; his children, Roland Shearer (Terri), Robin Smith-Martin (Dennis Martin), Brian Shearer, Lee Shearer, Edward Shearer (Tina), Brenda Bing (Brent Rohen), Mike Shearer, Thomas Shearer, Rhonda Wilber (Christopher), Anthony Shearer (Tiffanie) and Joseph Shearer (Ali); his siblings, William Shearer (Ruthann) and Francis Shearer (Marilyn); and his sister-in-law Nancy Shearer. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Calendar Beaverton Church of the Nazarene (540 Lang Rd, Beaverton, MI 48612). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
