He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hayes and Evelyna Hayes (Miles); his stepfather Robert Sr.; and his sister Elizabeth. He is survived by: his daughters, Ammie Hayes of Midland and Tonya Bowman (Jeremiah) of Big Rapids; and his siblings, Richard, Kellie, Robert and Sherry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
