She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Herkel and Thelma Herkel (Bauder); her significant other Gerald Hess; her husband Michael J. Detzler; her in-laws, Victor and Dorthy Detzler; her son William D. Detzler; and her siblings, Marjorie M. Herkel, David L. Herkel and Deb K. Iafrate.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Detzler (Karen) of Beaverton, Victor Detzler (Kimberly) of Alabama and Mary Detzler of Bay City; her stepchildren, Darryl, Wendy Hartless (Hess) of Texas, Dustin Hess of Mt. Pleasant, Jeffery Hess and Dawn Hess; her grandchildren, Steven Hynes (Keith) of Gladwin and Jeanne Kleinbriel (Detzler) of Mt Pleasant; her stepchildren, Kellie Day of Gladwin, Nikkie Holmes (Detzler) of Beaverton, Jon Detzler Desco (Aj) of Beaverton, Nichole Batalla (Detzler) of Midland, Sarah Rendon (Detzler) of Alabama and Michael Detzler of Alabama; her sister Gean Waldforgel of Midland; and her sisters-in-law, Lynette Mejia (Bob) of California and Sherri Thrill (John) of California. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with countless friends.
