It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Schwind of Beaverton, Michigan, born in Merrill, Michigan, who passed away on September 3, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Leo Schwind; his friend Bernie Kalahar; his sister Mona Schwind; and his nephew Mathew Schwind. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Fox; his children, Karen Vallier of Beaverton, James Schwind of Midland, Robert Schwind (Michele) of Midland and Ann Tomlinson (John) of Fort Gratiot; his grandchildren, Christine Engelhardt (Kurt), Adam Vallier (Kimber), Cassandra Schwind, Jacob Schwind, Brittany Haner, Zack Hodges (Amy), David Hodges, Devin Tomlinson (English) and Jordan Barlass (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Bayly Gehring (Luke), Audrey Engelhardt, Valerie Engelhardt, Braylon Bowles, Colton Vallier, Makenna Congleton, Mavric Prell, Hunter Braxton, Gianna Hodges, Alyiana Martinez and Destiny Hodges; his brother Paul Schwind (Jean); and his sister-in-law Maxine Goschke. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
