With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Kohls (Beaver Island, Michigan), born in Midland, Michigan, who passed away on August 22, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Kohls (Max) and Hazel Kohls (Burrows); his wife Helen Arndt; his children, Karen Pontius (Kenneth) of DeWitt and William Kohls (Angela) of Beaver Island; and his grandchildren, Kenneth Pontius III (Shannon), Kristin Knight, Megan Maheshwari (Ahbi), Cassandra Wallace (Scott) and Christopher Shockey.
