He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Walter and Nellie Walter (Newman); and his siblings, Andrew, Alvin, Claude, Lyle, Ward, Gerald, Robert, Sylvia "Bobbie" Snyder and Leona Rainey.
He is survived by: his wife Myrna Irene Edmondson; and his children, Lori Anderson (David), Doreen Garcia (Henry), Kelly Krise (Jason), Stephanie Swanson (Dana) and Janette May (Freddy). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
