He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Swanson and Clara Swanson (Snyder); and his siblings, Ernie Swanson, Edwin Alfred, Marie Konicki and Naoma Zaleski.
He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy Milan; his sons, Cletus Swanson, Allan Swanson (Colleen), Gregory Swanson (Michelle) and Dana Swanson (Stephanie); and his siblings, Thomas Swanson (Patricia), Floyd Swanson, Nora Hunt (George) and Joyce Thompson (Bub). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-granddaughters.
