Madeleine Mathieu Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Madeleine Mathieu of Bear Lake, Michigan, who passed away on December 6, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Randall (Hobson) and DeVere Randall; her son Jeffrey; her son-in-law Carl Gaylor; her brother DeVere Randall (Dee); and her parents-in-law, Thomas Mathieu, Diane, Burton Ware and Jeff Plamondon.
She is survived by: her husband Jerome Mathieu (Jerry); her grandchildren, Jessica Meekhof (Jeremiah), Jason Gaylor, Joseph Gaylor, Julie Koon (Thomas), Bobbi Jo Garner (Rick), Lezlie March, Chad Lovell (Amy), Rusty Ludwig (Wendy), Scott Ludwig (Michol), Jamie Ludwig (Nicole), Sara Mathieu, Johnathan Wertheimer, Derek Mathieu (Jenna) and Kaylie Brown (Ted); and her sisters-in-law, Judy Carmichael (Jim), Mary Lou Plamondon, Helen Mathieu and Joan Randall. She is also survived by thirty-three great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be directed to Wounded Warrior Project or the United Way of Manistee County.
