With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Jane Alther (Bear Lake, Michigan), born in Fruitport, Michigan, who passed away on February 22, 2022 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Alva Rinard; her daughters, Suzanne Marie Alther and Dawn Renee Alther; and her siblings, Martha Demmen, Alice Schneider, Janice Rinard and Alva John Rinard.
She is survived by: her mother Edna M. Rinard (Sikorski) of Holton; her significant other Dell Haltley of Bendon; her children, Brenda Maginity (Neal) of Thompsonville, Brett Britton of Honor, Robert Alther (Melody) of Milwaukee, Samantha Alther of Interlochen and Tiffany Alther of Traverse City; and her sisters, Judith Snow of Fremont and Darlene Short of Holton. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
