He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnston Jr. and Myrlin Sturgeon (Dodge). He is survived by: his wife Rosalyn Rousseau; his children, Jennifer Roos (Robert), Catherine Loree (Benjamin), Megan Paterson (Michael), Amanda Root (Anthony) and John Jr. Sturgeon (Holly); his grandchildren, Josephine, Kate, Duncan, Aelinor and Jameson; and his brother James Sturgeon (Kathleen).
