It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wayne Mackey of Bear Lake, Michigan, born in Onekama, Michigan, who passed away on July 7, 2022, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, James Mackey Sr. and Barbara Mackey; his children, Alex Mackey (Tiffany), DuWane Maidens (Jessica) and Isaac Hamilton; his grandchildren, Parker Mackey, Greyson Mackey, Brooks Mackey and Jameson Maidens; his siblings, James Mackey Jr., Joel Mackey and Sherry Ronning (Randy); and his partner's children, Corey, Kaitlynn, Gabby and Jacob. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
