It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Custer of Bear Lake, Michigan, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Roscoe and Ethel P. Custer (Levergood); and his daughter Phyllis. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Koch (Dave) and Cindy Booth (Bill); his grandchildren, Michael Koch (Shannon), Jennifer Roddis (Craig), Jessica Camilleri (Brian) and Christie Smith (Justin); his great grandchildren, Katelyn, Andrew, Brooklyn Koch, CeCe and Crosby Camilleri; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Morris, Bess Kirkland, Sue Kirkland, Jerry Kirkland and Richard Kirkland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
