He is survived by: his wife Jacque Wallace; his siblings, Greg Erdman (Deb) and Barb Peterson; his brother-in-law Richard Hansen; his daughters, Michelle Mertes (John) and Laurie Cook (Bryan); his grandchildren, John D. Cook (Sydney), Alexis Cook, Sarah Cook, Nik Cook (Zaley), Luke Cook, Jonah Cook, Aiden Mertes and Dane Mertes; his stepgrandchildren, Audreuna Swain, Jaedin Swain and Alexander Swain; and his great grandchildren, Keira Fairlamb, Emma Fairlamb, Liam Fairlamb, Harrison Fairlamb, Fallon Cook and Creed Cook. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Blaine Christian Church (7018 Putney Rd, Arcadia, MI 49613). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Blaine Christian Church or the West Michigan Emmaus Community.
