He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Powell and Lucille Powell (Arnold); his siblings, Audrey Miller, Ruby Blair, Kenneth Powell and Keith Powell; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Bennett, Herbert Schuiling, Daryl McCarthy, Ronald Miller, Lester Blair and Pat Powell.
He is survived by: his wife June Powell of Bear Lake; his children, Jill Smith (Gary) of Grand Haven and Robert Powell of Muskegon; his grandchildren, Garrett Smith (Morgan), Lauren Moorehead (Jake), Allison VanZytveld (Matt), Kaitlin Smith and Brentton Smith (Arden); his great grandchildren, Brynlee, Emerson, Makenna, Kendall, Annalea and Oliver; and his siblings, Ed Powell (Betty), Wilma Bennett, Melvin Powell (Ruth), Marilyn McCarthy and Jean Schuiling. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
