He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Thompson and Ruth Thompson (Glaspie); and his siblings, Warren, Keith, Jean and Joanne.
He is survived by: his wife Lorrie; his daughters, Nicole Nalepa (Joey) of Oswego and Jennifer Schoeck of Naperville, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Dylan, Ethan, Erin and Morgan; and his great grandchild Elijah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
