He is survived by: his children, Christine Knight (John), Leo Simon (Jill), Daniel Jr. Simon (Beth), Gary Simon, Janet Simon (Jim Harrison), Kevin Simon (Jo) and Carole Melvin (Doug); his significant other Evelyn Angevine; and his grandchildren, Gretchen Baisa (Dave), Anne Knight (Jeff Hughes), Carolyn Knight, Lindsey Simon (Chester), Kalie Simon, Alison Simon (Linda Gossett), Evan Simon (Lauren), Tara Simon, Blake Enbody (Melissa), Billy Harrison (Maddy), Jason Simon, Ashley Simon (Thomas), Matthew Simon, Jessica Simon, Hannah Simon, Rebekah Simon, Lauren Ritter (Chris), Kristen Murdock, Aaron Murdock, Justin Murdock, Trenton Murdock and Wyatt Melvin.
