She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Majeske and Dorothy Majeske (Whitbrodt); her husband Walter Scherzer Jr.; her grandchildren, Jeff Sylvester and Emily Ricklefs; her parents-in-law, Walter Sr. and Gertrude Scherzer; her brother Gary Majeske; and her brothers-in-law, Donald Scherzer and Bill Scherzer.
She is survived by: her children, Gretchen Ricklefs (Rick) and Scott Scherzer (Tina); her grandchildren, Jason Ricklefs, Megan Ricklefs, Jacob Ricklefs, Mike Ricklefs, Dustin Miracle, Trisha Sylvester and Allison Scherzer; her cousins, Paulette, Nan, Deb and Linda; her friends, Penny, Barb and Mary; her siblings-in-law, Roger Scherzer (Jennifer), Gary Scherzer (Jill), Dee Scherzer and Connie Majeske; her sister Margo (LeFlur); and her caregivers, Becky, Lisa and Chris. She is also survived by several other cousins, nieces and nephews.
