She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gust and Selma Gust (Pahnke); her husband Ben Schroeder; her son Jack Schroeder; and her siblings, Fred Gust, William Gust, Martin Gust and Ruth Gust.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandy Billingsley (Robert Ireland); her granddaughters, Alisha Phillips (Kevin) and Tara Federspiel (Joshua); her great grandchildren, Bella, Addison Phillips, Alexis and Maci Betzold; and her brother Frank Gust (Deloris). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's name to the Bay County Humane Society.
