He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Eyre and Helen Eyre (Welkenbach); his sister Carolyn Smith; and his son Robert Lee Eyre, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Janice Eyre; his sons, Scott of Bay City, Glenn (Jennifer) of Laingsburg, MI and Mark (Kaaren) of Salem, MI; and his granddaughters, Rachel and Autumn Eyre of Laingsburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
