He was predeceased by: his parents, John Koczenasz and Florence Koczenasz (Solinski); his brother Patrick Koczenasz; and his parents-in-law, Edwin and Angeline Nowicki.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Nowicki; his children, Mark Koczenasz (Monica), Debra Lesniak, Philip Koczenasz (Pam) and Matthew Koczenasz (Mary); his grandchildren, Andrew Koczenasz (Jessica), Ryan Phillips (Ashley), Alecia Nelson (Brent), Adam Koczenasz (Austin), Joshua, Mallory, Jacob and Jenna; his great grandchildren, Emyle, Cora, Conner, Charlee, Reagan, Parker, Payton, Brooks, Lewis and Rosalie; his siblings, Judy Wilhite (Tom), Terrance Koczenasz (Linda), Randy Koczenasz (Lois) and Jeffrey Koczenasz (Kathy); his siblings-in-law, James Nowicki (Cynthia), Daniel Nowicki (Annette) and Linda Koczenasz; and his aunt Delphine Rugenstein. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions in Richard's memory be directed to the Southwest Little League, as it held a special place in his heart.
