In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hartley and Grace Hartley (Ingalls) of Bay City; his significant other Gladys Hartley March (Baase); and his son Donald Hartley. He is survived by: his children, Jean Lynch, Robert Hartley, Debbie Schmidt (Kevin), Doug Hartley (Carol) and Dennis Hartley. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
