Rex H. Thatcher Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rex H. Thatcher of Bay City, Michigan, born in Williamston, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Thatcher and Emma Thatcher; and his sister Barbara Tompkins. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Thatcher (Karen Lautner-Boone), Richard Thatcher, Karen Lally (William) and Dana Worthington; his grandchildren, Andrea Fox (Rick), Stacie Quast (Jeffrey), Sara Strand (Josh), Stephanie Sweetman (Clay) and Meghan Ninke (Jeremy); and his great grandchildren, Geno Ninke, Enzo Dellisanti, Logan, Cameron Overholt, Thatcher Jeffrey Quast, Hayes Carter Strand, Boone Strand, Eliza Belle Quast, Madyson Overholt, Izabella Sweetman and Isla Ninke.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (805 Center Ave, Bay City, MI 48708).
