She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Stewart and Luella Stewart (Whitman); her daughters, Luella "Lolly" Rooker and Lesley Robinson; her grandson Joshua; her sister Myrna Shawl; and her stepfather Willis Hodder.
She is survived by: her children, Oscar DeSimpelaere, Dawn Cepo and Kelly Hedden (Bryan); her grandchildren, Oscar II, Christina (Duane), Aimee, Heather (Bill), Tyson (Bella), Natasha, Misty (David), Kenny, Jacob, Brittany, Bethany (Jeff), Allison (Wes), Ashley and Patrick; her great grandchildren, David (Alexis) and Dill; and her sons-in-law, Mike Rooker and Ken Robinson. She is also survived by several other great grandchildren.
