We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2024, at the age of 89, Mathias Jacob Skowronski of Bay City, Michigan, born in Cleveland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Skowronski and Elizabeth Skowronski; his wife Barb; his brother Henry Skowronski, Jr.; and his sister-in-law H. Rita Skowronski.
He is survived by: his children, Ellen Whitlock (Larkin), Danette Taylor (Troy), Christopher Skowronski (Karen) and Bernadine Besebes (Donanciano); his grandchildren, William Gielda (Erika), Veronica Skowronski (Ryan Prosser), Zachary Taylor (Amber Worthington), Abigail Richard (Wyatt), Jacob Taylor and Kyle Skowronski; his great grandchildren, Liam Gielda and Rylee Geilda; and his nieces, Mary Beth Skowronski and Debbie Ouelette (Steve).
Memorial contributions may be directed to Benedictine High School in Cleveland, Ohio, where he began his educational journey, and to John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio, where he nurtured his love for learning.
