He was predeceased by: his wife Erma Louise; his parents, Lee Thomas and Lillie Thomas (Aho); his brother Leroy Thomas; and his sister-in-law Patsy Adams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Valerie Dome (Jeff), Janine Reese (Clifford) and Marcia Thomas; his grandchildren, Kenlee Dome (AnnMarie), Alissa Gauthier, Brady Gauthier, Caleb Reese (Elaina), Sophie Piurkowski (Kyle) and Asher Reese; his great grandchildren, Leo and Max Piurkowski; his brother Carl Thomas (Wendy); his sisters-in-law, Eleanor Parrott (Robert) and Gerrie Miller; his family Kayla Hill (Zach); his caregivers, Virginia, Jackie, Mary, Terry, Trisha, Carrie, Paige, Samantha, Shannon, Maureen, Judy, Lisa and Josie; and also, Keagan, Kaydance, Zayden and ZellaJean. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and Canadian cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (501 W Ivy Ave, Bay City, MI 48706).
