Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Matthew Schwarz of Bay City, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 75, on September 11, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph K. Schwarz and Mary Evelyn Schwarz (Coyle); his son Joshua Schwarz; his brother William "Bill" Schwarz (Sharon); and his brother-in-law Michael J. Twiford.
He is survived by: his daughter Danielle Halpin (Josh); his grandchildren, Joshua Matthew Halpin II and Lola Elizabeth Halpin; and his siblings, Charles J. Schwarz (Shirlee), Rose Ann Twiford and Mary L. Singer (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and countless friends.
After the service, visiting will continue until 7:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family, c/o Danielle Halpin, for a memorial to be dedicated in John's name at Populace or consider an act of kindness or "paying it forward" to continue on John's legacy of kindness.
