He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Goik and Kathleen Goik (Jerore); his parents-in-law, Gerald and Helen Helminiak; and his brother James Goik.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Marie (Helminiak); his children, Stacey Dewald (Steve), Marci Rozek and Brent Goik (Melissa); his grandchildren, David, Benjamin Dewald, Samantha Rozek (Jacob Kolbiaz), Brianna, Wade Rozek, Jack, Drew, Cole and Gavin Goik; his stepgrandsons, Justin and Mason Brooks; his great grandchild Judson Kolbiaz; his siblings, Linda Flynn (Dennis), Gene Goik (Maureen), Beverly Charbonneau (Ron), Helen Bublitz (Bob) and Emily Ryers (Gene); and his siblings-in-law, Sue Goik, Ken Helminiak (Ellen) and Tom Helminiak (Karen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
