Joan Marie Maciejewski Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Marie Maciejewski (Bay City, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony J. Walthers and Myrtle E. Walthers (Mulders); her parents-in-law, Edward and Irene Maciejewski, Sr.; her siblings, Joyce, Elaine, Diann Walthers and Raymond Walthers; her brother-in-law Albin "Big Al" Gwizdala Jr.; her niece Michelle E. Anuszkiewicz; her nephew Michael Rosolowski, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Don Maciejewski (Joy) and Nancy Ducap (Chuck).
She is survived by: her husband Edward; her daughters, Karen Cleaver (Tracy A.), Kathy King and Kim Rychel; her grandchildren, Laura, Emma, John D. Cleaver, Amanda Reinhart, Carl King, Brandi King, Kayla Rychel and Kelsey Rychel; her great grandchildren, Derrik and Colton King; her siblings, Bill Walthers, Arlene Rosolowski, Nancy Gwizdala, Judy Naessens (Jim), Linda Malesky (Ted) and Bob Walthers (Mary); and her brother-in-law Bob Maciejewski (Vicki). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and, of course, her grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the All Saints Parish - St. James (710 Columbus Ave, Bay City, MI 48708). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Family and friends will gather at the church on Thursday, November 7 from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations in memory of Joan to the Bay County Library System (https://www.baycountylibrary.org) or the American Cancer Society.
