He was predeceased by: his parents, Victoriano F. Salinas, and Aurora V. Salinas, Sr. (Velasquez); his siblings, Angelita Salinas, Victoriano Salinas, Jr., San Pedro "Pete" Salinas, Sr. and Juan Salinas; and his father-in-law Carl Lederer.

He is survived by: his wife Janet of Chewie's Kitchen; his children, Nick Salinas, Jessica Laskowski (Mark), Amanda Reese and Justin Reese (Amber); his grandchildren, Adrian Salinas, Dakoda, Josh, Connor Laskowski, Brayden, Ty Reese, Emma, Paisley Commire, Jeremiah and Remington Reese; his siblings, Margarita Delacruz (Aurelio), Anita Martinez (Pedro), Olga Salinas, Lusia Martinez, Francisco Salinas, Luis Rey Salinas, Patricia Salinas, Angelo Salinas (Mary), Daniel Salinas (Rebecca), Guadalupe Villareal (Ted) and Rose Marie Kolleth (Joseph); his mother-in-law Caroline Lederer; and his brothers-in-law, Jeff Badour and Stever Badour.
