She was predeceased by: her parents, John McDonald and Edna McDonald (Boehm); her husband Joseph Arthur Dowd; her son-in-law Jeffrey LeBlanc; her sister Janet Rood; and her stepbrother Richard McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Dowd, Michelle LeBlanc, Linda McNairn (Kingsley), Tammy Montanye (Jeffrey) and Kathleen Wiltse; her grandchildren, Kevin Mendyk, Trevor LeBlanc, Angela LeBlanc, Paula McNairn, Devyn Montanye, Seth Montanye and Lance Wiltse; and her sister Elizabeth Ward. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
