He was predeceased by: his father James Elbridge; his brother Jerry Huffman; his father-in-law Lloyd Trask; his siblings-in-law, Lynn Sorgenfrei, Craig Trask and Janet Trask; and his nephews, Brad Trask and Eric Huffman.

He is survived by: his wife Michele; his children, Dana Berner (Dave), Shari Strawser (Chad), Jason Huffman (Erica Wales), Lauri Wolfe (Jeff) and Mark Huffman (Jamie Stuart); his siblings, John Huffman (Vicky), Judy Morgan (Jerry), Janice LaBrenz (Don II), Jeannie Swedberg, Joanne Huffman and Jeff Huffman (Brenda); his mother-in-law Mary Lou Trask; and his brothers-in-law, Ken Trask, Keith Trask, Bill Trask (Dar) and Michael Trask.
