He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Syring and Gladys Syring (Gushow); his son-in-law Randy VanOchten; his siblings, Larry Syring (Arlene) and Marlene Bukowski (Leonard); and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Lewandowski.
He is survived by: his wife Janet A. Lewandowski; his children, Cheryl VanOchten (Michael Betts), Sy Syring (Gladys), Harvey A. Syring, Bryan Syring (Annette), Scott Syring (Julie), John Syring (Gina) and Kevin Syring; his brother Richard Syring (Carol); and his parents-in-law, Jim Lewandowski and Lorine Syring. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or All Saints Parish.
