She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Kloha and Lydia Kloha (Beiser); her siblings, Lucille Rauschert (Maynard), Norma Peil (Ronald), Eldred Stallings (Delbert), Floyd Kloha and Carol Appold (Loren); her daughter-in-law Kathleen Gehringer; and her brother-in-law George Keintz.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon Gehringer; her children, Gregg Gehringer, Grant Gehringer (Debbie), Geoffrey Gehringer (Carol) and Gayle Johnson (Tony); her grandchildren, Nate Gehringer, Josh Gehringer, Grant Gehringer Jr., Jennifer Ruehs (David), Eric Heim (Lauren), Jonathan Gehringer (Amanda), Stephanie Johnson and Matthew Johnson (McKaely); and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Keintz, Carol Gehringer and Frances Kloha. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church of Amelith (1664 Amelith Rd, Bay City, MI 48706). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery (1664 Amelith Rd, Bay City, MI 48706).
Memorial contributions may be made in Geraldine's name to St. John's Amelith School.
