He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mika and Mary Mika (Cybart); and his parents-in-law, Richard and Doris Savage. He is survived by: his wife Jean Savage; his children, Michelle McQuillen, Michael Mika (Karen), Jason Mika (Brandy) and Jill Menear (Rocky); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Ariana, Collin, Amara, Rebecca, Hunter, Morgan, Landon, Tristan, Kamryn and Isiah; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Amiah, Alexander and Oliver. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ambrose Funeral Home (1200 Garfield Ave, Bay City, MI 48706). The military honors was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM at the same location.
