He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Groenhof and Agnes Groenhof (Stremler); his wife Hazel Groenhof (Rosendahl); and his sister-in-law Mary Lou Veltman. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Nava (Ricardo) and Kristen Ringel (Lee); his grandchildren, Stephanie Nava (Adam Stanfel), Katrina Josephson (Stefan), Amanda Hemphill (Shane), Matthew Ringel and Elizabeth Ringel; his great grandchildren, William Hemphill, Talia Josephson and Eleanor Hemphill; his brothers, Ben Groenhof and Jerry Groenhof (Ruth); and his sister-in-law Esther Hanson.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to First Presbyterian Church.
