With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorine A. Auernhammer (Bay City, Michigan), who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorine A. Auernhammer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Appold and Alvina Appold (Schwab); her husband Reinhold Auernhammer; her siblings, Anita Weiss, Lorna Ittner and Alvin Appold; and her brother-in-law Alvin Auernhammer.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Jerome, Peter Auernhammer, Debra Kennedy (Andrew), Sarah Auernhammer and Steven Auernhammer (Varsi); her grandchildren, Alexandra (Nick), Morgan (Chris), Jacob, Maclaine, Jackson, Benjamin and Austin (Katie); her great grandchild Jesse; and her sister-in-law Joanne Auernhammer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust (6094 Westside Saginaw Rd, Bay City, MI 48706).
