David Bernard Szutkowski Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Bernard Szutkowski (Bay City, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Szutkowski and Eleanor Szutkowski (Sieja); his spouse Swannie A. Kennedy; and his brothers-in-law, Dermont Kennedy (Marsha), Jack Kennedy (Nell), Alan Kennedy, Kim Kennedy and Don Pittman.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Reynolds; his siblings, MaryJo McCarty and Frank Szutkowski (Pat); his grandchildren, Stephanie Masters (Ryan), Brandy Shippey (Dylan), Austin Hamme and Alle Hamme (Miguel); his great grandchild Stevie Shippey; his sisters-in-law, Rosie Pittman, Bonnie Kennedy and Joyce Kennedy; and his stepgrandchildren, Camden and Morgan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Gabriel Parish - St. Joseph (84 W Midland Rd, Auburn, MI 48611). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to the donor's favorite charity in Dave's name.
