He was predeceased by: his father Francis Derocher; and his stepfather Donald VanAllen. He is survived by: his mother Geraldine VanAllen; his daughters, Andrea Snyder (Joshua) and Laura Pawlak (Jeremy); and his sisters, Kathy Jo, Janet Jo, Joyce Jo, Linda Jo (Dave), Judy Jo (Bill) and Mary Jo.

The family requests that donations be made to Disabled American Veterans in memory of Daniel Derocher in lieu of flowers.
