She was predeceased by: her parents, Willy Brauer and Marguerite Kumnik (Gunther); and her great grandchild Archer Lapan. She is survived by: her husband Francis E. Bessette; her daughters, Heidi Bessette and Rosie Jacobs (Mark); her grandchildren, Andrea Behrmann (Blair Lapan), Barry Smith and Halie Jobes (Austin); her great grandchildren, Piper, Pippa, Wren Behrmann, Jayden Dietlein, Laylah Jordan, Brantley Jobes and Jules Smith; her siblings, Sonya Korthals, Peter Kumnik (Laura) and Ingrid Vlassis (Ronald Smith); her nieces, Nicole and Amanda Vlassis; and her caregiver Shena.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gephart Funeral Home (201 W Midland St, Bay City, MI 48706). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
