She was predeceased by: her parents, F. Norman Higgs and Nellie Higgs; her siblings, John C. Higgs and Beverly Jean Higgs; and her close friends, Jane, Joan, Sharon and Peggy.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Charles Jessup; her children, Debbie Jessup MacDonald and Thomas "Tom" Charles Jessup (Toni); her grandchildren, Garrett MacDonald (Gabrielle), Leighton and Paige Jenna Sheffield (Dylan); and her caregivers, Christine Bassett, Stephanie Anderson, Emma Garcia and Mikayla Bassett.
In the end, Covid/pneumonia overran Carol's already compromised immune system. And she could no longer fight.
