She was predeceased by: her father Eugene Cygan; her husband William "Bill" Shook; her mother Alice Sarnowski (Beauchler); and her siblings, Gene Cygan, Jerry Sarnowski and Lorainne Cygan.

She is survived by: her children, Tim Shook (Kathy) of Braunfels, TX and Alice Shook of Bay City; her grandchildren, Tom Shook of Boerne, TX and Michelle Shook of Allen, TX; her great grandchildren, Timmy and Richie Shook of Kerrville, TX; and her siblings, Rick Sarnowski of Bay City and Carol Warwin (Mike) of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by four great great grandchildren.
