He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Girard and Lottie Cramer (Knapp); his wife Elaine Fleming; his close friend Margaret Unger; and his siblings, Valarie Sielski, Benjamin, Harold, Floyd Girard and Pete Cramer.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon MacDonald (Ed), Robert Girard (Susan), Kathy Bourcier (Trente) and Bonnie Esler; and his grandchildren, Bryan MacDonald (Amy), Christopher Girard (Molly), Jeffery Bourcier (Jennifer), Terry Girard (Ashley), Brad MacDonald (Christina) and Kyle Bourcier (Meagan). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
