She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer McFarland and Viola McFarland (Rivard); her parents-in-law, Florence Stein and Edward Stein; her daughter-in-law Rochelle Stein; her grandson Peter Nixon, Jr.; her siblings, Jim McFarland, Kay Wittbrodt and Delores Hughes; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Stein, Roy Graveline and Art Trombley.
She is survived by: her husband Rex Stein; her children, Tom Stein, Kevin Stein, Keith Stein, Scott Stein (Kathleen), Steve Stein (Shelly Miller), Mark Stein, Mary Beth Remisoski (Jason), Renee Stein, Michelle Stein and Kim Stein; her grandsons, Lance Remisoski and Alexander Nixon; her siblings, George McFarland (Cathy), Paul McFarland (Lynn), Jerome McFarland, Mary Graveline, Joan Trombley and Janet Hamling (Duane); her siblings-in-law, Roy Stein (Debbie), William "Bill" Wittbrodt, Patrick Hughes, Sherry Helm and Shilee Songerath; and her friends, Diane Delong and Anne Sweircz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great- nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Church (1000 S Wenona St, Bay City, MI 48706). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
