Andrew J. Cain Obituary

Andrew J. Cain, known affectionately as Andy or Fred, to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025, at his home in Bay City, Michigan. He was born on March 24, 1964, to the late Guy Wayne Cain & Luciann MacDonald.

An avid outdoorsman, Andy found solace and joy in the natural world. Kayaking through tranquil waters, setting up camp under the stars, and biking along scenic trails were among his favorite ways to unwind and reconnect with nature. His love for the outdoors was only matched by his talent in the kitchen. Andy was a superb cook, known for his culinary creativity and willingness to experiment with new recipes.

Andy is survived by his father, Dick Goodman, brother's Scott (Katie), Tim Goodman, Dan Goodman (girlfriend Marianna), Meghan (Ron) Gross, and Michalea (Jason) Nance.

He was preceded in death by siblings; Jeff Cain, and Maia Cain.

Following Andy's wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
